Pianist Josh Kaye returns to Blue Note Hawaii with a special concert tribute to Stevie Wonder.
Stevie Wonder is one of the most creative musical figures of the late 20th century. As one of the most-awarded male solo artists, Wonder has sold over 100 million records worldwide.
Josh Kaye moved to Hawaiʻi in 2008 after being part of the San Francisco jazz scene for twelve years. His 2004 debut recording entitled “The Joshua Kaye Quartet - Live!” included sidemen from the Cal Tjader band and was described as “kinetic Latin swing.” Since moving to Hawaiʻi, he has been recording and performing locally with his trio as well as his R&B/jazz group Adagio.
