2018 Keiki Makahiki Challenge

Description

Hawaiʻi’s favorite obstacle mud run is now available for the keiki. The 1.5-mile mud run will feature 10 obstacles designed to introduce the keiki to the world of obstacle course racing.

 

The Keiki Makahiki Challenge is open to ages 5 to 13 and is easy enough for children of every level to do. One parent can run with their keiki for a small fee. 

 

Heats happen every 30 minutes and each heat is sent off in three stages as follows:

  • 10–13 years old - first
  • 7–8 years old - second
  • 5–7 years old - third

 

Gates open at 7:00 a.m. Spectators can watch for $10. Parking is $10 (cash only).
