Taking pride in creating a calm and gentle environment for a comfortable and pain-free dental experience, Dr. Rohinton Patel offers a unique approach for his patients through extensive training and skills and innovative use of advanced technologies.

As the first in Hawai‘i to have a Galileos Cone Beam CT scan, he is amongst the first in the nation to perform guided dental implant minimally invasive surgery. As part of the select Cerec Mentors Group of Scottsdale Center for Dentistry (where he did his post-doctoral training), he is at the forefront of CEREC single-visit digital dentistry and 3D imaging for crowns, veneers, onlays and tooth-colored fillings. A Preferred Provider for Invisalign® and Invisalign® Teen Clear Orthodontic Braces, Dr. Patel also provides pediatric and geriatric dental care, one-hour Zoom Teeth Whitening/Bleaching, mercury/metal-free materials, TMJ therapy, emergency dentistry as well as routine dental hygiene and cleanings.

“We can offer comprehensive treatment plans that provide minimally invasive and conservative options that preserve and maintain a patient’s optimal oral health,” says the Boston University Graduate School of Dental Medicine graduate and an Adjunct Clinical Professor at its medical center. He completed his internship at Harvard University Vanguard Medical Associates. Dr. Patel is a visiting lecturer at University of Hawai‘i School of Medicine.

Dr. Ed Campbell, M.D., a National Board Certified Anesthesiologist joined the practice four years ago and with whom Dr. Patel provides “True Sleep Dentistry.” These customized dental treatments, under IV sedation and nitrous oxide, reassure apprehensive patients in a safe, monitored surgical suite that exceeds government safety standards. Over a decade of experience also enables Dr. Patel to develop a painless injection technique.

A lifelong student of advanced cosmetic dentistry and implantology, oral cancer and genetic dental research, Dr. Patel also volunteers for Special Olympics, Dental Lifeline/National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped as vice president of its board of directors.
